Acrobatic Dance:Elevate Your Child's Confidence and Creativity Through the Graceful Art of Acrobatic Dance!
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays
Acrobatic Dance, commonly referred to as Acro, is a captivating dance style that seamlessly combines the elegance and technique of classical dance with the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements. This fusion creates a visually stunning and dynamic form of artistic expression.
The popularity of Acro has soared, influenced by the remarkable success of contemporary circus productions like Cirque du Soleil. Moreover, mainstream media outlets, including prominent dance television programs such as 'So You Think You Can Dance,' 'America's Best Dance Crew,' and 'Dance Moms,' have played a significant role in driving the demand for Acro within both amateur competitive dance and studio settings.

Mastering Acro presents a formidable challenge for dancers as it necessitates training in both dance fundamentals and acrobatic techniques. The Acro skill set encompasses a range of techniques, including balancing, limbering, tumbling, and partnering. These elements are rooted in attributes like flexibility, contortion, and strength.
At our dance studio, we offer distinct levels for Acro, utilizing the meticulously designed curricula provided by Acrobatic Arts and the Acro Dance Teachers Association (ADTA). Regardless of age, all students are required to begin with a trial in Beginner or Acro Level 1 (Age dependant). For our younger dancers under the age of 4, we have a specialized program called Pre-school Acro, tailored to their developmental needs.
Our Pre-school Acro classes follow the ADTA Kinder Acro Program. It is designed to provide a safe and structured environment where children can explore rolling, flipping, and playing while learning fundamental acrobatic skills. This program is divided into three age-appropriate groups, starting from 18 months and above where parents play an active role in classes. Through engaging activities, children develop essential fine and gross motor skills, enhance their sense of balance, and refine their overall movement abilities.
Having qualified instructors in both world renown Acrobatic Arts & Acro Dance Teachers Association (ADTA), stands as a testament to our commitment to providing the highest quality acro education for students aged 18 months through to our adult dancers
Enrol your child in this exciting journey of movement, creativity, and skill development. Just choose the appropriate aged class from our timetable and give them the opportunity to flourish in a nurturing and stimulating dance environment.
