A letter about GDPR!!!

We absolutely hate admin...why would we spend time on paperwork when we can be in the studio dancing and teaching? However, keeping your personal information safe and secure is our top priority at DanSci Dance Studio. That’s why we’re getting in touch to tell you about some changes to our privacy policy in readiness for the introduction of the new data protection law on 25th May 2018.

Don’t sweat it – the changes don’t alter what we use your personal information for but make it easier for you to find out how we use and protect your information.

Your personal information is an important part of our service as it lets us track your students progress and attendance, keeping them safe by allowing staff to know medical issues and of course your contact information in case of an emergency or to notify you of any changes to our services.

If you are happy for us to, it also lets us get in touch whenever we have offers or deals that we think might be of interest to you however, if you would prefer not to hear from us for things like Summer Camp, Shop discounts etc please email us at info@dansci.co.uk or click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of our emails to you.

The fact that the law is changing only builds on what we already do today – and that is to give your personal information the respect and security it deserves. However, we are making a few changes and moving away from paper as much as possible. This will not affect current students just yet but over the next few months we will be changing our monthly payment procedures for our Youth Students just to make it easier for all parties to keep on track and once the Royal Academy of Photography releases new photographic permission forms we will be after signatures!

So do please keep an eye our in the studio for announcements should you need to update your payment information.
