Teaching Assistant Opportunities for our Dedicated Teens

Here at DanSci we want to encourage our dedicated dancers to step up and lead within the studio. As well as our performance team and team captain roles we also have a number of teaching assistant roles for our youth.

Dancers who are currently enrolled in dance programs at DanSci Dance Studio and aged 13 or above can apply for the Dance Teaching Assistant Program. This program is designed to give current students hands-on experience towards becoming trained dance instructors and mature leaders.

The opportunity to serve as a Dance Teaching Assistant is not only a great honour and responsibility, but also an invaluable learning experience that may result in future work references and teaching opportunities

Meet Miss Amelie who has graduated with a professional certificate

Assistant Teaching Certification typically takes 3 years with a further year to complete your Developing Teacher Certification. Successful candidates will receive an internationally recognised certificate from the International Dance Teaching Standards upon completion of their training.

We are also super excited to shortly be launching our Associate Acro Dance Teacher Training. affiliated by the Acro Dance Teaching Association (ADTA) This program will give our assistants all the confidence they need to support and spots dancers in the studio.
